the reason for the vacuum is to boil the moisture out of the system. the longer the pump is on, the better. minimum is 45 minutes, best is as long as you've got-maybe overnight. pulling the vacuum is not enough to remove the moisture, it has to be vented out the pump. and so it goes, chuck.
