engine change 700 1990

The 1995 B230FT is an L block. It has piston oil cooling and a curved tooth timing belt. The piston oil cooled engines don't suffer from piston slap because of the increased cylinder wall lubrication.

K blocks are great engines, and we have three early turbo 700s with K block B230FTs. However, I would not rebuild one if I had a good L block. I'd use the L block instead.
