Tell me how...

Not sure. It isn't all that critical so long as the Bolt stays in for the next 40000 miles. My Gun has several settings. From 'playing around with the settings and a regular Ratchet. I kind of know what setting on the Gun has the 'feel' of my manual tightening.

i.e. I know how tight , with a ratchet I tighten my Lug nuts. If I set the Gun to the half way mark, it makes the Lugs about the same tightness.

I've stayed out of trouble so far. I have never seen a torque wrench at a local Service station except when installing Heads. So I know I'm more conscious of not over killing on the tightening then the Shops.
