240 Diesel, yes or no...

Here in Florida, they don't do so well...and remember the sulphur was taken out of diesel fuel and this is what lubricated everything so well. All I can say is "compression check" before you buy. The rings stick to the pistons, and they loose compression. As long as the maintenances have been done, as long as the additives have been used, and as long as compression checks out fine...

I'm driving a 1982 used-to-be-a-diesel. "Abbie" was our first diesel conversion to LH gas we did at our shop. We have done 5 since. We only have two customers with diesels, and these are 740T diesels. All the others have gone on to be reincarnated into S80's and such. I'm sure there will be plenty of views and answers to our question...I'm saying be wary...be very very wary.
