They unscrew. It's just a bolt. Should have a 10mm hex on it, but if it's rusty, use vise grips or whatever's convenient.
A regular M6x12 or similar short bolt is a good replacement. It's not essential that you use any bolt but it makes assembling the brakes easier. If one of these pins breaks off when you're removing it, it's no big deal. The car will be fine without it. They usually come out fine.
