230f still running like crap....IDEAS?

I have checked the timing...got one of those nice digital snap-on lights...it's bang on! as far as the crank goes... I did replace the one that was on there ( the old one was missing the keyway tooth...). I suppose that is a possibility but I doubt it...kinda lookin like a valve :(
I'll do a compression check and look for feedback...thanks so far for your replies.
