"B18 heads have indents in the intake ports for steel hoop inserts, B20 heads do not."

I dont think thats true on all B20 heads, at least not here in Europe. All the B20 heads I have seen did have the indent, with exeption of the E and F-heads.
Might be different in 'non-europe' countrys though.
