B20 rods 120-130

Great info all!
I ended up with a rod that was only 8.7g heavier that the other three so I attacked it with a file (I'm pretty careful) then sanded off the scratches. 2 hours of careful work! Didn't go the level of polishing so I'm not going to be stress-relieving (shot-peen). Also, this is a "freshening" that is getting out of hand since I am just a weensie bit anal about things (the freshening is enough of a short-cut that I cannot stand to do any more!).
Stock bits, wear limits to the max and no new bolts = low rev capacity but quick to get there.
By the bye, removing more than 10g is next to impossible without some very certain experience under your belt. I removed ALL of the forging partition lines in order to get the 8+ grams off. Polishing would probably account for another 3-4 grams but that would be pretty much it. The first gram is easy...

Mike!

p.s. At least the clearances plasti-gauged out to .0020"
