The important thing is the number of holes,notches {whatever you want to call them} and their placement on the flywheel. There were two different types with differing number of pick-up holes. I think the difference was Bosch or REX ignition. REX was always used with Regina fuel system and has a squarish coil as opposed to a cylindrical Bosch. This flywheel will go on in several positions but only one is correct at TDC. I believe when the crank is TDC #1 cyl, the wide space on the flywheel lines up with the starter opening on the block.
