AC conversion help 700

You need a recovery machine to remove the old refrigerant or you will have to simply vent it to atmosphere like the good old days. This practice is pretty much frowned upon and not recommended. Once you have the old R12 out of the system you need to fit your new parts and then have the system evacuated and recharged. To do this you will need to either have the tools and the know how or pay someone to do it for you. Yes, your old pipes are compatable with R-134A.
