I do not have the definitive answer, I can only say that I have never come across such beasts here in Norway. This is not to say they do not exist.

What I have heard though, is that some buyers occasionally order their "superduperspecialwiththelargestengineandallthetrim" Mercedes (typically) completely debadged. Reason? They do not want to neither boast nor get their car vandalized/stolen when parked in the wrong neighbourhood. That's about the closest I have come to stories about debadged cars from the factory.
