No, just get a Pierburg pump. Don't get a "noname" pump.
SEV is probably ok but several other kinds are NOT.
I have had good luck with Pierburg, the OEM pump. In my experience
they put out exactly 3 psi pressure which is exactly what you need.
No regulator required.
