Towing Capacites

Well, I can tell you the towing capacities of the 960 for yr '94 was 3300 lbs. Also my '96 960 sedan is 3300 lbs. Since the 940 is essentially the same frame and chassis, it should also be the same towing capacity. Note the 240 has the same towing capacity, 3300 lbs.
Try www.volvocars.com/ownerscircle There you can register your car and get the Volvo specs for anything. I just looked it up for these cars.
