Even though you say your fuel pump relay clicks, that doesn't guarantee that it's making good contact internally. If I were you, I'd resolder it just to completely eliminate that as a suspect. I tend to agree with the theory that it's your AMM, but I did once have a bad fuel pump relay that had symptoms not unlike yours.
