my head is off 1800

I had to take the head off my 1800ES becuase when i lifted one of the pushrods the valve lifters came up too. So is there anything i should do or look at with the head off? I should have the valve seals looked at right and replaced? What esle should i do? If there is anyone out there who knows of a good shop to do examine the head in the Tacoma Washington area? Thanx guys!
