I am in the same boat to a degree. My 745T hood will bind / rub against the upper cowl on the passenger side if I open it too quick. I have lubed all the hinge parts - but it still tries to catch.

Next step is to move the hood forward a bit - I rekon. I will watch this thread and see if another option is put out there.
