Buttons not lighting up 200 1992

There could be a chance that your friend may have bumped the ground wires back there causing the buttons to not light up. But as far as I know the buttons only light up when they are being used not when they are in the off position. If none of the buttons light up when they are pressed then I would say that one of the ground wires back there has come loose. The button supplies the power to the bulbs through the switch housing and the bulbs have a ground wire to complete the circuit. Thats what I remember last time I was back there toying with those lights. If I'm wrong someone feel free to correct me. Good Luck!
