pre-emptive water pump replacement ; '73 es 1800 1973

Since 1800s do not have overhead cam engines with timing belts there is no reason to replace a water pump until it actually fails. An aside, my '79 240 went 375k miles with timing belt changes every 60 or 70K but I never changed a water pump. The one that came with it went with it. Best car I ever had.
