Is there a brake light reset? Or am I missing something? 700

Not shown in that picture are 2 springs at either end of the the piston. By the action of the springs the piston should center by itself when pressures on both sides are equal. Sometimes it sticks, corrosion from moisture in the system, miscellaneous crud, whatever, the result of not bleeding the brake system as recommended. Try whacking the junction box with a hammer, that may center the piston.
