In addition to the usual, if you are going to be scrounging wiring, a seat belt cutter/letter opener is useful for slitting the wrapping on the cable harnesses without gouging the insulation.
Also not a bad idea to slather yourself with insect repellant, and stick a handful of bandaids in your side pocket.
