Replacing dash speakers. 700 1991

Wow - strange. Every one I've seen has the cutouts, with '91+ having both the door and the dash speakers. Perhaps it's a US/Canada market thing ...

If it's anything, consider cutting a small piece of fiberboard in the shape of the speaker, mount up a small speaker, and cover with speaker grill fabric. I think a 3-1/2" (GM size) can fit.

Or cut out the old speaker/magnet portion and mount up a new one in place. It's broken already, right?
