Engine missing a beat, i think 900 1990

Dear Harvey,

Good p.m. and may this find you well. These symptoms - based on posts I've read - could result from:
(a) a failing Idle Air Control Valve
(b) a loose or cracked vacuum hose
(c) a failed intake manifold gasket (the earlier red/orange gaskets were prone to failure; the newer ones are pale green).

The things you changed could also have contributed to this.

Let us know if changing any of the above, cures the problem.
