1a) 740, 760, 780, 940, and pre-95 960's. If you have the small brakes, then 14" rims can be accomodated, opening up rim options from the 240.

1b) Ford RWD cars with 5x108 actually have FWD offsets. FWIW, the previous T-bird uses CV joints in the back too. There is another option for RWD 5x108 (11mm offset), but they comes at a steep price. They're Ferrari rims.

1c) 215/60/16 on 16x7.5 Ronal R25 rims. They're tall (8% larger) because my speedo is off by that much. For most, stick with the stock diameters.

2a) Ditto on checking whether the bead mounting area is smooth or not. If the tire mounting place didn't scrub it clean, that could be the culprit of the air leak.

2b) No experience with inner tubes.
