I've known a few folks who have had excellent service from Broadway title... I think they are in Louisina or Tennessee or somewheres thereabouts in a state where you can legally sell a car with only a bill of sale.
What it involves is selling the car to them based on the bill of sale. They go to their local motor vehicle registration and get legal paperwork for that state, then sell the car back to you. then you take that legal out of state stuff to your MVR, and get a title. You tell your MVR that you just bought the car on ebay and the paperwork you got is all you got. I don't think it'll work in all states, but the folks at Broadway will be able to tell you if it'll work in your area.
My brother got a title that way for the 1930 Model A he bought on ebay, and I also have a friend who got a title for an old BMW R50/5 motorcycle. Both with very good, fairly fast results. Much easier than the red tape required to do it all though the Colorado beaurocracy.
Do it soon... I expect its a loophole that ain't gonna last forever.
