Thoughts on a 1996 960

I'm not an expert on the 6 cyl and I never owned one. Only thing I have heard of is to replace the timing belt a proper intervals, since if it breaks can do engine damage. If I'm am not correct, someone please correct me.

I went with my son to pick up a really nice 96 850 for which we paid $5000.00, so $4000.00 for a nice 960 does not seem like a bad price, unless there is a reason to stay away from a 960.
