LH threaded lugnuts? 444-544 1953

Cam had the correct answer. The fact that the LH wheel studs on your axle have LH threads in fact identifies it (with 99% certainty) as a 444 one, though in theory it could also be a later axle of which the studs were replaced by earlier ones with LH threads, but I can't think of any reason why anyone would do that.
Other differences were the keys for the wheel hubs, which were of larger size (8 mm instead of 6 mm) and the positions of the lower shock absorber mounting points. These were on the spring carriers from the 444L/LS on, but before that they were on the axle.
