T5 conversion question 140-160

I use a white gear, don't know the number of teeth, and it reads about 15% high. it's a code 155 tranny for a 4cyl turbo. .79 top gear.

Let me know how you put the cable together so it fits comfortably and works. I use a mustang cable, modified to accept the volvo bits on the speedo end. The snap-in connection at the tranny end is way too tight against the body. I am still trying to decide whether to pound in the sheet metal or cut in a bypass for it.
