My thoughts exactly on the springs! I'm planning on getting them, but that's when monetary funds allow, and all else has been taken care of... Yeah, i wasn't sure what kind of fluid goes in the box, and my friend just told me 80 wt hypoid gear oil... Well, i just so happened to have some 80/90 Castrol Hypoy C from when i changed the rear end... SO that is now in there and i'll just see what happens. I'll have to shake the steering box's arm a little bit... I know that the idler arm is messed up as i said. I will also eventually get a FULL poly kit for my car, no doubt about it. I can't wait for the transition from initial understeer(mainly because of my tires) to the correct oversteer(aided with the iPd bars, including the older BIG front bar =D) to be gone, and have the rear end much more solid and predictable. The bushings in the rear are all good as far as i know, many of them being replaced last year, but yeah, too much give in them rubbers for me. That's for sure. Poly or delrin would be more my style. I haven't even driven my car or turned it on yet with the HD 164 engine mounts yet, and i already love them just from trying to shake the engine with my hands. =D
The stabilizer bar, do you really think it helps much? Is there any bending/denting of the engine bay where it connects to the inner fender? Shayne was even saying that it isn't really worth it and might even punch a hole through my inner fender, so i ended up returning the one that i bought originally... Maybe i'll go back to it in the future, but i think the 164 mounts will be sufficient for now.
As for "drive hard"... HA! THat's the only way to go man, only way, i love it! Peace man, good to hear your thoughts, and to see someone who isn't always a regular and has an awesome car and good ideas and thoughts about driving, hah. Later man,
