I'm still going to vote for the engine mounts. Failed engine mounts will allow a lot of vibration. I didn't realize how damaged my engine mounts were until I compared them with new hydraulic mounts. Take a look. If the top section on either of the mounts is completely collapsed, the mount(s) are toast.

If you've recently replaced the engine mounts, and didn't use Volvo branded hydrualic mounts.. go back and use the Volvo units.
