If you can get the sunroof open completely, you will see the cables on each side of the sunroof tracks. Spray silicone lubricant the length of each cable track along with the lever that controls the vent panel. Be careful when using spray not to hit the interior area:). My sunroof was very stiff to crank open, previous owner must not have ever used it. I lubed it awhile back and it cranks like a hot knife through butter....Also see the FAQ section of this board, sunroof maintenance section...
