740 Speedometer Cable Replacement 700 1990

The speedometer is magnetic. First i will check the ground connector behind the left feet panel on the driver side.... I lost mine a few mounth ago and after a long research on the sender (rear axle) the wire and in the speedo unit i found that little connector on my left foot. I clean end replug and guess whzat ??? Miracle my speedo strart to work fine...
