Some differences between '79 and '80-on 200 1979

Ths FAQ about changes during the 140 and 240 Volvos' run may prove useful.

If bulletproof has covered the main points and his guesses are correct as to what's been addressed already, then I'd say you have the opportunity to get a very sweet car. The tires will be a pretty penny if you go for good ones (probably more than 50% of what you will pay for the car itself!), and I'd expect you will want to get the car repainted professionally as well, but $800 is not a bad deal at all, and you probably can talk him down $100 or so. 150,000 miles is not a lot, for a '79!

Go for it and good luck!
