windshield squirty things 700 1991

On my 83 760, I temporairly removed the hose on the squirter from under the hood, then forced air backwards through the squirter with a rubber tipped air nozzle on my air compressor. Previously the drivers side didn't squirt at all, and the passenger side came out as a slow drip. Now they squirt so hard, I had to aim them down to keep them from shooting over the car! Still going good after 6 months, with no ipd filter. I suggest just doing it each time they get clogged, and if they clog a lot- clean out the tank.
