6x9 speakers

ok so I got some 6x9 speakers for the rear of the 240 sedan. Now comes the fun job, looks like I have to cut some metal to make them fit... as the oval shape is not the same as the rectangle already precut. Anyone have any experience putting in rear speakers they want to share before i go ahead and wreck something.
