The yesterday along with my other Troubles (previous post) my oil pressure warning light came on and kind of went off and on. I Coasted to a gas station a It was pouring rain so I sat in the volvo and read up on the oil pressure system. anyway. I had a friend that live near where I was and I decited to see if he had a oil pressure gauge to check my pressure. I started it up and no oil light came on. I drove to his house and just as I was arriving the light came back on. Well he came out and we decited it was probably just an electical issue. (My wiring is terrible, I think I am going to have to get a new wiring harness) But anyway, I think in the process of messing with the sensor I destroyed it, it was very brittle. After messing around for a while I decided just to head to where I was going. The light never came back on, and the engine sounded normal. However, when I first start it up after not running for a while it does some tick tick tick sounds but for less than I minute. I assume this is just while the oil gets pumping. I am planning on getting a gauge to check the system but I drove it about 250 miles so if it is not right I probably hurt something.

Where can I get a new sensor to replace?

BTW it took me about 6 hours to make a 2 hour trip...i still have faith in volvos. :)
