hard to start when hot. 1800

The car is fuel injected. Would the same still be true. On fuel injected cars the leaks would happen upstream of the fuel rather than after the fuel has been mixeed so I would think that it would only make it idle faster. Unless it were a later model volvo injection system that has an air mass meter. No 1800's have mass meters though they would have m.a.p. sensors that would compensate for the leak. Let me know if I'm overlooking somthing here. Hey,I could be wrong.
