Apart from the damage you may have done underneath and the good advice from others, your symptoms can be associated with a dead AMM. With the ignition off, disconnect the plug from the AMM. Now try restarting without the AMM connected which will cause the engine to run in "limp home" mode. If the engine now starts and runs (albeit poorly) then the AMM is likely faulty.
