Testing for shorts at fuse block?

You would have to pull off the connect suppling power and once your sure you have removed the power side wire, then check with an ohm meter from the connector to ground. For the protection of the meter, you generally don't want power on you meter when checking resistance. Some of the connectors have power on them at all times others with key is on.
