In cleaning up my engine, I see that the intake hose leading into the air filter appears to draw only from the corner area behind the headlight and mini-grilles (which are solid on mine)...there is a metal wall sectioning off thie headlight corner area from the space behind the radiator, so air coming in through the main grille wouldn't be circulating in the space where the intake hose could suck it in... (?) This seems like a poor design -- perhaps one reason these cars run hot? Is there something I'm missing, or is there maybe a modification to allow more air intake?
