87 240 4 door.

lighting-no dash lights, misc. bulbs just keep going out-bulbs are fine!! like brake lights and front right park lamps, right headlight isnt getting power, had to rig power off the left, the same with the rear right brake and park lamps so i dont get pulled over! any suggestions on this fiasco?

exhaust-i live in illinois but commute to missouri quite often, when i was down there and stuck in a traffic jam the little tree hugger people that work for the state came around with their exhaust sniffers and said "there was bad stuff in the exhaust", whatever tha means. anyway, i notice on startup the exhuast stinks pretty bad, but seems to settle down as i drive the car, its not an oil burning smell, smells more like ATV or motorcyle exhaust, normal or a sensor problem???

And last, the rear engine oil seal is leaking, how bad of a job is this to do. the tranny has to come off but i dont think it should be too bad?? anyone ever done one before? any pointers
