What kills an ignition distributor? 700

2.2 system has hall sensor(photo interrupt) on plate in distributor and while the sensor rarely fails the wires to it do. The 2.4 system uses flywheel sensor and hence there is nothing in the distributor. Oil seal is a common replacement on both units, bearing failure is not.
