Well done, Sherlock!

The 1-2-1 you got could be from your meddling with the AMM if you are lucky. Try to reset the diagnostics memory (again: see FAQ) and se if both codes reappear.

I have no personal experience from 2-3-2, but I would try changing the oxygen sensor (lambda sond in Volvo toungue) and see if that solves the problem. You could go to a scrap yard and rescue a used sensor to save some $$$.
