Thanks for the info. Not what I wanted to hear but much appreciated. The only bad part is what happens if you jumper it and later on it runs low on freon?

Probably a good temp fix though, I imagine to have the compressor replaced, it'd probably be around say $700-$1000, just a wag, but I bet close to it.
