The reason I brought up the relay is that any time the relay is on the fritz you can get various outcomes. Outcomes from no start one minute to starting the next. Given all the other areas you have described, it poped to mi\nd.

I would first check the timing.

I also saw that you swapped in an AMM. Was it a KNOWN good AMM? Same part number? The reason I bring tthis up is that I had very similar simptoms that went away when I put in a good AMM.
