I put a system in a 71 142 using all the under dash stuff from a donor car from a local junk yard, but everything else is new. Key items, get the right expansion valve, new rotary compressor (I used a Sandon 508), new condensor, and new drier (a must). As others mentioned, Vintage Air can provide what's needed. I am using Duracool instead of 134A. Be sure your compressor is ordered with correct oil to match refrigerent. Let me know if you need help---Good luck!
