To narrow down the problem check if ou have spark at a plug when you have the no start ocurring, resolder or replace the fuel pump relay, cheap and easy to do, considered preventative in any event as they often fail and can be intermittent.

Fuel flow on the return line only means that the pumps are running at that particular time, but does not mean pressure is correct at the fuel rail, that is controlled by the regulator.
