Burned Out Lamp Indicator 700

My Burned Out Lamp Indicator intermittently turns on while I'm driving down the road, and instantly turns off when I push the brakes, which leads me to believe that something is wrong with my brake lights. I have replaced both lights and made sure that both are seated very well, but the indicator still randomly comes on. It almost never happens when I first start up the car, and never stays on after I push the brake. Anyone have any ideas?
