Instrument Panel Problem - Help!!! 200 1988

Hi. I had this same problem when I took the dash apart in my car. I found that I did not have the big plug connected fully. This lead to the battery draining one day at school. I took it apart and then i reconnected everything and jumped the battery and it held a charge. On the back of theat there is three wires that could be miss placed. The yellow and red wire connects to the lower right pin. The orange wire connects to the temp guage, and the blue to the gas guage. DO NOT CONNECT THE WHITE AND RED WIRE TO ANYTHING!
