1/2" seems to fit the aux air regulator and manifold fittings just fine -- I just tried it on a spare system I've got out in the garage. If that's loose on the crankcase teardrop, it's perfectly legal to use a hose clamp.

The hose on the oil filler cap needs to be the preformed Volvo one on an 1800. There's no hood clearance for a non-kinking bend in generic hose. Let me know if you need one of these.
