All the Owner's manuals for 240s that I have had specified W7RDC. That's for 1984, 1986, 1987 and 1988.

they work fine for me. Only problem I have is that the factory gap they come with is not right - I have to regap them to .028". Minor PITA.

the heat range is the number. "7" is OK for general driving. If you intend to do racing or other non-general driving, consider changing to a different range.
